Today’s video features 3 different mic capsules for the Zoom h8 with different triggers, lots of tapping (no talking) for deep sleep & tingles. ♡ As I said last video I do have a new audio interface and this video I was trying it out with different triggers! 🤍 The Zoom H8 is an audio interface you can connect various microphones to it, and there are special microphone capsules designed specifically for this device. I used three different capsules here, and they all have different characteristics. The XAH-8 can be rotated left and right, which is excellent for binaural recording. I also found that tapping on it sounds very good, for example, tapping on the silicone surface, as it produces a nice, rich bass sound. It sounds high-quality, natural, and has very little background noise. (Its my fav!!) The XYH-6 has a similar design, but it can't be rotated. Binaural recording is possible with it, but not as pronounced as with the XAH-8. (The XAH-8 can be rotated very far from eachother giving the option to create different types of triggers for both sides .. if you have easy trigger to do with one hand lol) The XYH-6 does have nice binaural sound too, but since they cant be rotated away from each others mic capsule they record the sound on both sides. However, I also found that tapping on the microphone capsule itself sounded very good! This one also sounds high-quality the overall sound, especially the "fluffy" sound, sounded very natural. It has slightly more background noise than the XAH-8, and it was actually the microphone included with the Zoom H8 when I bought it. The MSH-6 is probably most similar to a Blue Yeti. It has a round microphone housing. Compared to the other microphone capsules, I found the housing to be not as well-made. It's still good! But in direct comparison, it's the weakest of the three. It sometimes sounds a bit muffled and has the most background noise. I think I'll need to do a lot of testing to find the best settings for it. BUT, I really liked the sound of tapping on the table mat with this one! I think I've generally found good settings for these microphones, but I'm definitely looking forward to experimenting with them further. It was a lot of fun, and I didn't even realize the video would end up being so long! (btw I was NOT paid for this review haha! I just thought maybe its interesting for you too!) Please let me know what you think of the triggers and the microphones. Which one is your favorite trigger? 🤍 ALSO ITS SPOOKY SEASON. How do you like my autumn outfit??🤍 (My community wants catgirl mina, so I added a little calico cat design to it because I feel it fits the cat and autumn theme the best!)🤍 ══ ⋅ ☽ 👻 ☾ ⋅ ══ 🕒 Time stamps: 00:00:00 XAH-8 Mic scratching & tapping 00:05:17 XAH-8 Watermelon Squishy 00:10:19 XAH-8 Chocolate Toy 00:15:19 XAH-8 Silicone bottle cap 00:20:20 XYH-6 Mic scratching & tapping 00:25:50 XYH-6 Spikey Hairroller 00:31:04 XYH-6 Fluffy ear pick 00:36:04 XYH-6 Wood scratching & tapping 00:41:04 XYH-6 Mascara brush 00:46:04 XYH-6 Orbeez Squishy 00:51:04 MSH-6 Mic scratching & tapping 00:56:04 MSH-6 Plastic wrap & spikey squishy 01:01:18 MSH-6 Silicone cap and fruit squishy 01:06:18 MSH-6 Table mat tapping ═ ⋅ ☽ 👻 ☾ ⋅ ══ #Asmr #notalkingasmr #Vtuberasmr #Asmrvtuber #ghostlyasmr #sleepaid #asmrrelax #zoomh8 #tappingasmr #tapping #asmrwood #asmrsquishy #asmrorbeez #asmrtoy #asmrbrush #asmrplastic #asmrsilicone
