I can't believe it took me this long to make something like this! I want to add more camera movement in my videos, so something like this was the perfect place to start, I think. Having grown up in the early 2000s, I love found footage horror movies, and this one was also inspired by video games where you see the darkness through your camera:) Stumbling upon a strange cult during your nightly hike in the woods is a very plausible situation, which is why I never go to the woods at night. I live right next to a forest, and I hear the strange sounds, you know... (Also, what's up with the people taking a walk in the woods with a flashlight during the night?! I could never.)
