ASMR | Bantu Knot Take Down & Hairstyle

Hey! Tonight I am trying a Bantu Knot takedown and style. A few weeks ago I posted a Trying Bantu Knots video, this is the follow-up from that effort. I hope that you enjoy tonight's video. In this Bantu Knot Take Down and Styling on Natural Hair ASMR video I start by removing the knots and the extension hair that I placed in the last video. I was surprised by how many of the little rubber bands had broken in half. After all of the knots are out I start by gently separating the hair into smaller sections of curls. I tried my best to keep the frize down but I still ended up with a lot of frizzy sections and the curls were not as defined as I hoped. After finishing the look and reviewing the footage I noticed that I might have been able to define the curls a little bit more if I went into each section with more curl cream and spent some more time giving attention to each little section of curls. Even though I will never know what it is like to have this hair type, this exercise gave me a better perspective on the process of caring for and managing natural afro hair.
