Lamy Safari Fountain Pen - ASMR Whisper

I've had some request to do another whisper video. Lately my videos have been more soft-spoken and so I thought this pen video would be a good opportunity to honor the whisper request. The main point of this video however, is to personally take a look at the Lamy Safari fountain pen. I'm always being asked which pen should someone buy if they have never had a fountain pen and want to test the waters, so to speak. Because I have heard and read so many good things about the Safari, I didn't hesitate to suggest it. Finally though, I decided I should get one of my own so that I could feel good about recommending it. As it turns out, my experience with the Lamy Safari has been positive and I now certain that it is a great pen for anyone wanting to buy their first fountain pen without spending too much. As with most brand-name fountain pens, I was able to order this pen with my choice of nib size. Because I write often in journals which tend to have narrow line spacing, I choose an extra-fine nib size. The nib of this pen is steel and I was able to choose between a natural steel color (silver), or a nib that was shiny black. Intrigued, I choose the black nib and it looks great on the pen. Also, the pen accepts standard ink cartridges, but, if you want to use bottled ink, be sure to order an optional converter for the pen. As far as where to buy; I'm sure there are numerous reputable places on the internet to buy this pen, but I've been please with the friendly, professional service of the Goulet Pen Company.
