My boyfriend says all the time you wouldn't believe I read a lot from how I talk lmao. I wasn't expecting to enjoy this book for multiple reasons. A big one being they're able to communicate with animals which I thought would be unrealistic and annoying. However, I absolutely loved Todd's relationship, especially as it progressed, with his dog. Todd and the girl he meets gives me a bit of Thomas and Teresa from The Maze Runner vibes, and I liked it.
