This one is from Lainey who spent a vacation on Puerto Rico and kindly collected two maps for us. Thank you!! So, let's explore the plans of the old fortresses of San Juan and some historic info, mostly on the Spanish period. I figured it'd also be a good opportunity to learn about the Taino people who lived on Puerto Rico at the time of the conquest and who did have a lasting impact on us and our vocabulary.
