Hello there beautiful human. If you're new here - welcome. And if you're revisiting, thank you for being here and supporting me and this channel in different ways. It means a lot to me 💚 It has quite recently been Midsummers day here in Sweden. A special and also very magical day here! Hence here comes a special video on some of the magical creatures living in the deep forests of Sweden. Its a Soft spoken ASMR video in which I tell you about some of the magical, mysterious and sometimes scary Swedish folklore creatures present in the deep, dark woods here... These are Skogsrået or (the) Huldra, Näcken, Troll (trolls), Älvor (elves) and Vittror (invisible beings living in the underground). I hope you will enjoy & take good care! ------ Art from public domain; The video contains art and illustrations from the artist John Bauer (born 1882) that did many illustrations of trolls and other magical forest beings for the fairy tale collections "Bland tomtar och troll/ Among gnomes and trolls" which has greatly influenced the features of the Swedish folklore beings. Other than that the video contains art from Theodor Kittelsen (Huldra), Nils Blommér (elves), August Malmström (elves), Ernst Josephson (näcken) ------ Chapters: 0:00 Midsummer mysticism & magic 3:05 Skogsrå / Huldra 5:55 Näcken 7:40 Troll / Trolls 9:55 Älvor / Elves 12:25 Vittror (underground people) 14:45 Singing Good-night song (Trollmor / Troll mother) #asmrstorytime #mythology #folklore
