Oh my gosh! This video was the most absolute fun to create! My Jerry (husband) finally agreed to make a video with me. We went to a local family restaurant in town and recorded genuine, full length dining room sounds. Later, we set up a cafe scene to emulate our experience and blended our video with the sounds of the cafe. This video is the result of some real work and creativity. But we really got to eat out and eat at home too! That, in itself was quite a reward. Please enjoy the sounds of a real southern cafe and our southern hospitality. If you listen carefully, you will hear quite a bit of southern accent. So nostalgic and so comforting. The murmur of the crowd is just like home. All conversation between my husband & I is improvisational. We practiced not at all. Much of our conversation is meant to be humorous and is not based on our real lives. Nor, are any of the lines we used meant to be critical of anyone or anything. We do play around a bit with the southern accent. I believe it is quite charming. And who knows? Maybe it's becoming real! I've lived here 11 years now. Almost 12. Hmmm. The sounds will be of silverware clatter, dishes clanking, voices murmuring, children's voices, ice clinking, some chewing & eating. Roleplay conversation.
