It was a near 40-degree day in Sydney when I decided to make and film this dish — probably not the smartest of food for such stinking hot weather. In the end my cravings won out and I did not regret my decision one delicious bit. Even though I was full by the end of the video, I wanted more, more, more! You had better believe the remainder of these babies were polished off just a few short hours later. (Once I had some more room in my belly, of course.) I’ve linked the recipe below for anyone who’s interested in checking it out. Basically it’s just chopped cauliflower coated in a spice flour mixture, ground flax seed and water (what we vegans like to refer to as a flax ‘egg’) and crushed cornflakes. To this, add a mixture of melted vegan butter and Frank’s Red Hot Original sauce, saturate the cauliflower pieces and then bake them in the oven for 20 minutes. The white sauce is a must make, too. In the recipe (also linked below) the author has called it a vegan blue cheese dipping sauce, but personally I think it tastes closer to ranch. Super duper yummy either way! As always, thank you for watching ❤️ Cauliflower bites recipe: https://itdoesnttastelikechicken.com/... White sauce recipe: https://itdoesnttastelikechicken.com/... (Note, I did not include the crumbled tofu component in mine. It’s not essential for the taste, and is only to add texture.)
