If I had to describe these hot dogs I would say that they’re a hybrid of a standard American hot dog (with ketchup, mustard, onions) and a Chilean hot dog (with mayonnaise and fresh avocado). Instead of using a traditional frankfurter/hot dog wiener, I used a packet of smoked chilli-flavoured vegan sausages that I picked up from the vegan markets I attended this past weekend. Here’s how I assembled my hot dogs: sesame seed hot dog bun, vegan sausage, mustard, ketchup, vegan mayo, shredded vegan cheese, finely diced jalapenos, finely diced onion and fresh avocado.
