Hello, and welcome to my channel! This ASMR video consists of fast scratching on a variety of textured wax candles. I use my Rode mics in this video, so there are lots of ear to ear tingles! I found the pink and maple leaf candle at HomeSense recently; I got excited, and it gave me the urge to start creating videos again! ASMR is a relaxing tingling sensation often felt in the scalp, neck, and spine caused by various stimuli such as sound, visuals, touch etc. When I experience it, it feels like my brain/scalp is getting a relaxing massage, and makes me feel calm. Many people have different "triggers" that cause this relaxing, tingly sensation such as tapping, scratching, whispering, crinkling sounds, water sounds etc. (the list goes on!). Why do I make ASMR? ASMR has helped me through many difficult times, including stress, inability to fall asleep, anxiety, panic, and depression. I know I cannot cure these for you, but my hope is that I can at the very least help you relax and make your day a little better. The main purpose of this channel is to relax you, and create a calming environment. It is a place of positivity, and to feel safe. Relax, and happy drifting, everyone! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have been getting several comments regarding mental health. I want you to know there is help out there, and please seek medical help if you need it or feel there is no hope. You do not have to suffer alone: http://www.suicide.org/international-suicide-hotlines.html You are loved. You are worthy. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
