It's International Hummus Day so what better way to celebrate than by eating some hummus?! (Duh...) I've got three kinds of hummus to enjoy today - basil, red pepper and beetroot - plus some Turkish bread. The Turkish bread and beetroot hummus were purchased from the supermarket and the basil and red pepper hummus were home-made. I simply made a big batch of my go-to hummus (the regular/plain kind - recipe link below) and added extra ingredients to 'flavour' it. For the basil version, just add some fresh basil leaves to the mixture before blending and for the red pepper version just add some roasted red peppers to the mixture before blending. Too easy!
