I lost one of the light-weight wooden Queens that came with my portable chess set so I decided to use this as an opportunity to upgrade the set to competition style, triple-weighted pieces that are better suited for blitz play (rapid chess) because they are less likely to fall over and are easier to grab because of their larger size.. Relax as I bag up the old wood pieces and dump in the new Staunton chess pieces, which by the way, came with extra Queens.
