It was around 8PM and 21 degrees Fahrenheit Friday night, January 22nd 2016, here in SouthEastern Pennsylvania, as we awaited the arrival of Winter Storm Jonas. It had just started to snow, and there was about an inch or two on the ground, so I grabbed my black golf umbrella, Zoom H6, in-ear binaural microphones and headed out to record a brief walk in the snow dedicated to those that enjoy these sounds as much as I do. Headphones are recommended, as you will hear the sounds of crunching snow beneath my feet and the snow falling onto the umbrella above me. I recorded ~15 minutes worth of audio and looped it to make an hour. Random street scene image by Jayt74 on Flickr under a Creative Commons license. I hope you enjoy. - E.R.
