FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and common sense tells me it's good to be prepared. Therefore, I have been picking up items here and there to toss into what I guess would be called an "emergency" bag or backpack. A "bug-out bag" seems to be the common term. The primary purpose of a bug-out bag is to allow one to evacuate quickly if a disaster should strike. I've been assembling the items needed to make life easier for at least seventy-two hours if for some reason I had to leave my home in a hurry. This is one of those projects that most people put off and avoid, and I admit that I'm kinda late to the game, but, better late than never I guess. I may even make a video of the completed bag/s sometime. As usual, headphones or ear-buds is very helpful in these type of videos.
