It is usually used for relaxation and to help people sleep. Here is the definition on Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASMR My ASMR Journey I was 30 years old, working in an office and I used to speak to a lady every month to see if she'd like to advertise, she used to speak REALLY quietly on the phone and I always got a weird tingly sensation over my head which ran down the back of my neck. I loved speaking to her, I remember it so well, as it used to baffle me! Then a couple of years back one of my fabulous friends said she'd started watching ASMR videos, which I jibed her for initially (I thought she was funny), so she sent me a video of a lady doing a roleplay, working in a shop, wrapping gifts, and OMG I was hooked!! Hook Line and Sinker! The video was by ASMRAngel. Then I gladly discovered Gentle Whispering ASMR and I was addicted, she seems uber sweet and just amazing at what she does. (Links below) I sometimes have it on whilst I'm working (just for tingles and concentration), but also if I cant sleep or have anxiety, I find it really helps me. I'd like to think I may be able to help someone else sleep, or help you to feel peaceful and positive, so here I am. I'm a creative person, so love creating and editing the videos.
