Your first cranial nerve exam of the year here =) Hello! How are you today? This week flew by, in that way that makes you wonder if you really lived it all or if you were just ticking off tasks. I spent a lot of time organizing pending tasks and bureaucracy of adult life (seriously, who invented that?). But, fortunately, Friday and Saturday were two good breaks, the kind that remind us of what really matters. On Friday, I went to a café that lives in my heart to recharge my batteries, and I met my dear, beloved, beautiful and delicious (sorry, brellyno) croissant with cream cheese filling. And to make things better, I had one of those surprises that only those who are attached to menus will understand: MY FAVORITE DRINK IS BACK ON THE MENU!! A Clockwork Orange — filtered coffee, orange juice, and tonic water (those who have been on Instagram for a while now will probably remember this gem, which has appeared several times in stories.) Aiai, brellyna asmr doesn't need much to be happy.🕺🏻 On Saturday, I experienced something that will occupy a very special place (for real) in my memory. I had never been to a book launch, and my first time was to honor someone I love and who grew up with me — my cousin. We are only six months apart (I am the oldest, and I am proud of it, okay?), and seeing her shining like that made my heart almost explode!!! The entire environment seemed to pulse with emotion, love, admiration, genuine joy... such a beautiful energy that, at times, I could only stand there, looking at everything and thinking: “Grandma would love this here.” (and I would probably have already asked for a bunch of “portraits” of her with the Teatro Amazonas in the background 🤣). Everything there, despite being HAPPY, had a hint of LONGSIGHT. But wait, longing can also be happy, brellyna. It is and will continue to be. And yesterday, between real and invisible hugs, I saw a dream come true before my eyes. I saw pages turning into more than paper, becoming an echo: of our history, of our childhood, of conversations in grandma and grandpa's backyard, of muffled laughter in the bedroom so as not to wake the adults... Well, little person, if you've made it this far, consider this a reminder to celebrate the achievements of those you love, even the small ones, even the silent ones. And take "portraits", okay? Lots of them. Even if someone complains about the light, the angle, the crumpled face. Take them anyway. Because at some point the photo becomes a memory, and the memory becomes a hug. And it's no wonder that photography is a part of me. Because taking pictures is almost like saying: "this matters". And celebrating is saying: "you matter to me". So celebrate. Thank you very much for your company! Enjoy your relaxation. Kisses from Bre 💋 ✨142,491✨ Oh, I almost forgot! About today's video, a small and cozy examination of the cranial nerves. 🫶🏻 (I don't think I even needed to say it hahahaha I hope you like it!) From my heart to yours, I wish your dreams come true 💜 b. 📩all my networks and contact: https://linktr.ee/brellyna ▸ but what is ASMR? ASMR is the acronym for “Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response”. Do you know that pleasant sensation or tingling that is normally felt on the scalp caused by some stimulus, such as hearing a soft voice, the sound of rain, watching slow (or fast) movements with your hands, or when someone is drawing something and you feel extremely relaxed? That's ASMR! ⚠️ But it's important to remember that this “therapy” is not a substitute for specialized monitoring. ⚠️ This technique should be avoided by those who suffer from misophonia or similar problems, in which sounds such as chewing, swallowing or whispering cause increased agitation and anxiety.
