Matariki, otherwise known as Māori New Year, is a public holiday that New Zealand has only recently implemented. I'm technically a week late 👀 but better late than never... right? I hope you guys enjoy this soft speaking ASMR video about the history, cultural significance and modern day relevance of Matariki in Māori culture.
