New Lidar technology has revealed tens of thousands of new structures throughout the Maya region resulting in an explosion of archeology. In the video I said Lidar stood for “light imaging detecting radar”. That’s incorrect. It stands for Light Detection and Ranging (LiDaR) and it cuts through the jungle canopy revealing hidden structures beneath. We’ll go through our packs and get you ready to help explore the jungle.
