Ping pong balls (40 votes) I was scrounging around for the sounds of heavy rain, but unfortunately every time when the conditions seemed to be perfect, I went outside and the rain almost suddenly stopped. It drove me crazy, and finally I decided to give up the idea, and instead I recorded the sound of very delicate spring rain which was much more easy to catch. Personally I suppose that actually it's not that bad, and maybe even better than most of the sound effects (mostly heavy rain) already available on youtube. Let me know what you think.
