ASMR C-Section & NICU | Medical Surgical Role Play

Welcome back to the Cozy Hospital! Today is the day you're having your baby! Dr. Cozy will greet you and start your IV magnesium and Pitocin (2:29). She will put you on a monitor to keep an eye on your contractions (6:51) and then when they start to increase, she will move you to the operating room. First she will do an ultrasound (10:16) to make sure the baby is in position and the fetal heart rate is strong. C-section surgery begins (12:52) and you do really well! After surgery, you will be moved into recovery and the doctor will do a quick neurological light exam (29:21). Once you've checked out okay on exam, Dr. Cozy will take you up to the NICU (34:26) where she will do an exam on your newborn and then you get to hold her! ASMR is a tingling sensation often felt on the scalp, neck, shoulders and back, although you may feel tingles in other places as well! ASMR is triggered by different types of stimuli. It can be personal attention, gentle touch, hand movements, crinkling, tapping sounds... there are lots of different types of ASMR triggers and everyone is different when it comes to what triggers their ASMR!
