Welcome back to the Cozy Hospital! Today is the day you're having your baby! Dr. Cozy will greet you and start your IV magnesium and Pitocin (2:29). She will put you on a monitor to keep an eye on your contractions (6:51) and then when they start to increase, she will move you to the operating room. First she will do an ultrasound (10:16) to make sure the baby is in position and the fetal heart rate is strong. C-section surgery begins (12:52) and you do really well! After surgery, you will be moved into recovery and the doctor will do a quick neurological light exam (29:21). Once you've checked out okay on exam, Dr. Cozy will take you up to the NICU (34:26) where she will do an exam on your newborn and then you get to hold her! Thank you so much for requesting this video! It was very interesting and fun to make and really challenged my creativity! If anyone has a request for a video, please comment below! I would love to make what you want to see. Important note, this video is meant for entertainment and relaxation. I am not a real life medical practitioner. Parts were left out (like the placenta because I didn't want to gross anyone out) due to trying to keep this relaxing or for simplicity. If you are currently pregnant or interested in C-sections, please find an actual medical source for research or consult your physician. _________ What is ASMR?
