The prep included doing some shopping for the dental tools (dollar store, woo!), doing some research on the procedure, and some rehearsal as well. Several hours of editing to meticulously place in every little drilling and suction sound (that I recorded myself, can you tell? haha), as well as splicing together all the takes as usual.
