After completing the "Suburban Night Ambience" video (https://youtu.be/EsV_lcDr-jg), I was thinking about how it would be nice to own some kind of night vision device. One thing let to another, and after some research, I purchased my first infrared trail camera. I set it up on a tripod in the backyard away from the house. I also purchased some critter feed and put it on a paper plate near the bushes, just to see what it might attract. Well, lo and behold, a few raccoons showed up. We have seen a nursery of 7 raccoons roaming around, which appear to be new to the area. Deer are quite commonplace. I plan to do this again, maybe every other month, as I don't want to habituate the raccoons or any wildlife by feeding them. I may also setup the trail camera out in the woods somewhere and see what it might capture. 00:00:00 About the video 00:00:23 Raccoons 00:16:23 Deer Channel Playlists: https://www.youtube.com/c/EphemeralRift/playlists?view=1&sort=lad&flow=grid Website ► https://ephemeralrift.com Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/ephemeral.rift/ Twitter ► https://twitter.com/ephemeralrift1 Flickr ► https://www.flickr.com/photos/ephemeralrift/ Listen to select audio works outside of YouTube: Spotify ► https://open.spotify.com/artist/6WJUD0ljiIwxmbEzpb4onm iTunes ► https://music.apple.com/us/artist/ephemeral-rift/602599265 Patreon ► https://www.patreon.com/ephemeralrift
