So when we finally met at The Lodge Barber Co. Igor told us he had just missed us in Malaysia shortly after we filmed at Son & Dad Barbershop - talk about timing! Igor Sadurskii grew up in Russia near Moscow in a small, quiet town where everyone knows everyone. In his town, people considered it a big deal to move to Moscow let alone Los Angeles! Igor says, “That’s almost an impossible challenge, like going to the moon.” 🌝 In Russia, Igor states he “was a political activist protesting against dictatorship.” He adds, “It was a major part of my life and eventually brought danger - I had to leave and travel the world before fate brought me to the United States.” 💈 He’s been a barber for 9 years and was inspired by Reuzel and Schorem Barbershop after seeing some of their early videos.
