Manuscript Day 131- Plus: Are You Living the Life YOU Want to Live?

Recorded Thursday, February 26th, 2026, the 131st day (would've been 133 consecutive, but I missed two in 2025) of working full time on the manuscript for my first (self-published) book. It was originally meant to contain my unpublished short-form writings from the early 2000's (poetry, song lyrics, the beginnings of a short story or two, etc.). It has has since become a 57k word monstrosity. An unconventional blend of absurdity, horror, comedy, and more. It shares the similar style and DNA of Douglas Adams and H. P. Lovecraft, who I read, and apparently those I've never read, such as Terry Pratchett, Lemony Snicket, Hunter Thompson, William Burroughs, Kurt Vonnegut, and others, who I hope to read one day.
