When I was a kid, there were a lot of newsstands in the city I lived in. They always had this mysterious aura with such a small space holding so many magazines and snacks, haha. Sitting in there during the rain seems so peaceful to me, just reading and not having to deal with customers, lol. The street might even transform into something else during these times, with strange creatures coming out when people aren't around.
