Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You are here today because you need to have an emergency appendectomy, due to acute appendicitis. The anesthesiologist and scrub nurse will get you hooked up to the monitor and ready for surgery, before the anesthesiologist puts a mask on you and counts you down to sleep. Then your surgeon will perform the appendectomy.
