Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You've been staying overnight in the intensive care unit due to a severe post-op lung infection and elevated LFT's. During her rounds, our night nurse will come in and do an extensive chest exam: listening to your breathing, feeling your chest expand with her hands, palpating and percussing your chest and back for signs of crepitus, and then changing the dressing on your incision site. After, she will stay with you until you fall asleep. 0:00 Intro 0:10 Nurse comes in, hand sanitizer, putting on gloves 2:01 Peak flow meter 3:52 Skin exam 5:03 Eye exam 6:15 Examining your hands 6:41 Neck exam 9:28 Listening to your chest 10:05 Listening to your back 12:05 Feeling your chest expand when you breathe with my hands 13:20 Palpating and tapping on your chest 16:03 Palpating and tapping on your back 17:35 Percussing your chest 18:46 Extremities exam, palpating down your arms 20:55 Pouring you a cup of water 21:44 Throat exam 22:47 Listening to your chest with you lying down 23:55 Dressing change, crinkly wrappers and sticky sounds 29:04 Raising you up a little in bed 29:30 Fluffing up your pillow and getting you more comfortable 30:08 Writing in your chart and flipping pages until you fall asleep Please be aware that this video is intended for entertainment, relaxation and ASMR purposes. It is not meant to diagnose, treat, educate or accurately depict issues or illnesses or procedures. Many of the procedures are altered for ASMR purposes and because I'm not filming in an actual medical facility. (Some of them are completely fictional they just involve neat sounds.) Please consult your doctor or a reputable health care source if you have any health questions or concerns. ______________ What is ASMR? ASMR is a tingling sensation often felt on the scalp, neck, shoulders and back, although you may feel tingles in other places as well! ASMR is triggered by different types of stimuli. It can be personal attention, gentle touch, hand movements, crinkling, tapping sounds... there are lots of different types of ASMR triggers and everyone is different when it comes to what triggers their ASMR!
