Once in a while I enjoy getting out with an old 35mm SLR film camera and running a roll of film through it. The sounds of these mechanical wonders, coupled with the easy pace of landscape photography, is a recipe for relaxation. So relax as I load up a Minolta X700 with 400 speed color film, and attach a 50mm lens. Then, join me in the woods to experience the way photography was before the digital revolution. The Minolta X700 35mm SLR camera was introduced in 1981 and was one of Minolta's top-sellers until it was discontinued in 1999
