Today we're looking at a bit of an oddity: a christanised firmament, created by Julius Schiller around 1600. Instead of our traditional constellations, he put figures from the old and the new testament in the sky, including the manger and three magii. Suffice to say, it didn't catch on, but it's a fascinating bit of history to explore.
