ASMR means Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response refers to the perception of a tingling, pleasant sensation on the skin (so-called tingles); often experienced in a similar way to gentle electrostatic discharges. It typically starts on the scalp at the back of the head and moves along the neck and upper spine to the shoulder area.
