I am using the traditional toll house recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I am also trying to cut back on sweets so most of these cookies ended up on my bus. The children absolutely loved them! Lots of resounding and affirming yummy sounds! Mmmmm. Now they are asking me when I am going to do it again. Sheesh. I must explain for those who notice; I don't use the full amount of flour called for so I can add oats for taste and texture. The raisins are for the added sweetness and variety of flavors. No nuts. Not for me. Don't know why. Counter intuitive to the mushy softness I guess. But oh my goodness....they were soooo good!
