Bronze Age Palace from Mysterious Mitanni Empire Discovered The Mitanni Empire existed from roughly 1550 BC till 1300 BC. Called Hanigalbat by the ancient Assyrians and typically called the Hurri by the Hittites. This mysterious empire played a major role in the history of the ancient near east.
