Okay, so I wanted to make something in support of all the artists protesting against AI art. My husband and I are both artists, but this is about more than "just" losing work, and every platform (including the YT ambience community) being oversaturated with AI generated "work" that was created by crawling images without artists' consent. Besides being an artist, I also love art. Because it brings us closer as people. When you look at a piece of art (may that be a picture, a story, a film or even a song), you can see a little piece of another person in it, along with years of hard work and determination. You might feel less alone, recognizing a feeling you thought no one else felt besides you. From the very first piece of art created, people wanted to share something of themselves with others, making art a deeply human experience for both the artist and the viewer. It saddens me that finding new artists has gotten so much harder because it's AI art that gets recommended. I believe AI art could have its place in the creative process for some artists, but the way it is used by most is not it. This video was created with no AI involvement, and I will state that in all my video descriptions going forward. Let's continue to support artists, because art is one of few things we have left that is deeply human and can bring us closer together. Thank you for reading, and enjoy the video.
