Summary: Every 100 years, a chosen hero is born. They are trained and sent to the darklands of Mortax. There they are to defeat an ancient evil….a dark mage of the most horrible power. But this mage, they have no intention of fighting the hero. They are tired of the bloodshed…after all, they know the truth. They have seen many heroes enter their palace, and though they are indeed the chosen ones, they are chosen to be a sacrificial lamb. The mage wishes for nothing more to break the cycle…perhaps the new hero will be that chance…perhaps.
