Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You have come in to stay over night for a sleep study to help address the insomnia and sleep anxiety you've been experiencing. The doctor who will be observing you will perform a full body exam to rule out any physical contributors to your difficulty with falling asleep. She will then connect you to the monitor so she can observe your brain activity and vitals during the night and help guide you through relaxing before stepping out to let you sleep. 0:00 Intro 0:10 Doctor comes in, explaining what will happen 1:44 Getting your history 5:25 Eye exam, penlight swing test, peripheral vision testing, follow the light 9:56 Otoscope exam; ears and nostrils 11:56 Mouth and throat exam, internal and external 14:12 Chest exam; stethoscope, percussing 17:01 Taking your temperature 18:05 Connecting you to the monitor; EEG leads, temperature sensor, pulse ox clip 25:29 Going through relaxation techniques and talking about your mind during the process of falling asleep 35:26 Writing notes in your chart 43:18 Background typing, white noise Links: ⭐ Spotify: https://sptfy.com/OZ57 ⭐ Apple Music: https://apple.co/44H5khL ⭐ Other alt listening platforms: https://ffm.to/thecozyhospital ⭐️ Instagram: @thecozyhospital ⭐ Facebook: / thecozyhospital Please be aware that this video is a role play intended for entertainment, relaxation, sleep aid and ASMR purposes. It is not meant to diagnose, treat, educate or accurately depict issues or illnesses or procedures. Many of the procedures are altered for ASMR purposes and because I'm not filming in an actual medical facility. (Some of them are completely fictional they just involve neat sounds.) Please consult your doctor or a reputable health care source if you have any health questions or concerns. ______________ What is ASMR? ASMR is a tingling sensation often felt on the scalp, neck, shoulders and back, although you may feel tingles in other places as well! ASMR is triggered by different types of stimuli. It can be personal attention, gentle touch, hand movements, crinkling, tapping sounds... there are lots of different types of ASMR triggers and everyone is different when it comes to what triggers their ASMR!
