Hello my friends! This is the video that I've been waiting for since I started this channel. I intend for it to be the first of many. I'm a licensed mental health counselor and I'm excited to kick off my series of therapeutically-based ASMR videos with this exercise for anxiety. It's a technique that I've found a lot of success with for both clients and myself. We will be completing body scans, identifying physiological symptoms of anxiety, identifying physiological feelings of goodness/neutrality, and alternating between the two. As stated in my video, it is so important to me to recognize the limitations of a platform like YouTube. So while I am a therapist, this video is NOT intended to be therapy. It is for entertainment and relaxation purposes only. Therapy inherently necessitates a back-and-forth between therapist and client. If you are wanting to try out therapy please check out Psychology Today's Find a Therapist Tool at the link below. It really is an incredible resource that allows you to search for a therapist by any criteria that is important to you. #asmr #asmrtherapy #asmrforanxiety Psychology Today's Find A Therapist Tool: https://www.psychologytoday.com/intl/...
