8D audio is a rather simple technique used to remix songs to emulate surround sound. I use to get confused when people asked for this in asmr, because asmr by nature already has that stereo effect. In my most recent video "ASMR at 100% Sensitivity", I noticed a way I could amp it up and make it even better. Technically by the standards of youtube mastering gurus, this is 16D audio because the subsequent tracks oscillate on a different axis. I hate to improperly label a video, but is it wrong if the community has chosen the term, is a spoon not a spoon because people named it? None the less this is 3d sound that people like to call 16D, and that's ok. If you like the video, let me know. I have a little idea to make it even better next time ^_^ PS. I don't want to shave anymore and you're going to have to 'not be ok with that. Please get me to cut it ──────────────────────── What is ASMR? ASMR is a physical reaction to sound, sometimes even causing a warm tingling sensation. Side effects may include: feelings of relaxation, calmness, comfort, moments of entertainment, followed by the intense need to nap. I've been watching asmr since 2012 and making them since 2016, with the goal of creating videos I wished to see more of in the community.
