Hello! Today I'll be rambling about the Spanish language and its history to help you fall asleep. 💙 Like last time, a quick disclaimer: I don't speak Spanish, I haven't studied Spanish, and most of the info is taken from various parts of Wikipedia. I appreciate them very much :) The music I mentioned is the Cantigas de Santa Maria. They're often performed together with songs from the Llibre Vermell de Montserrat which is also from the Middle Ages, though from a later period, and written in Latin and Catalan.
