Fisher Park Walking Tour | Greensboro, NC (Not ASMR)

This video isn't great, sound-wise or anything else-wise, but I wanted to share for those of you who might be interested in a little walking tour of the Fisher Park area of Greensboro. It's just a small section of town. I'm sorry you can't hear too well in some parts (and maybe TOO well in others). I did the best I could under the circumstances. A HUGE crowd came out for the tour, so it was hard to get into good spots for everything. Here's some information about Fisher Park from Preservation Greensboro's page: Fisher Park was the first Greensboro suburb planned and developed around a park and one of the earliest park suburbs in North Carolina. British Army Captain Basil J. Fisher re-imaged a swamp and garbage dump into Greensboro's most fashionable Gilded Era addresses in 1901 when he donated the lowlands for the city's first park that still bears his name. Residents took full advantage of ample lots overlooking the new park by commissioning the city's best architects to design sometimes palatial homes. Today, the neighborhood is recognized as one of North Carolina's premier streetcar suburbs with architectural confections designed by Will Armfield, Raleigh James Hughes, Hobart Upjohn, and Albert C.
