How did you learn Korean? This is a question I often see and I thought I would take some time to tell you my story about it, in English. I think that I have already talked about it in French and maybe in Korean. I might also have already talked about my languages learning experience in the video called "ASMR Soft Spoken: How many languages can you speak? Why? (Storytime :D)". I didn't have the time to check it. Excuse-me if I repeat myself. As I've talked about similar stories in different languages, I sometimes don't remember about it. In this video, I talk about my journey, so you are going to listen to some really random stories that might have nothing to do with actually learning Korean. I hadn't planned to make this video but this was just the right time to make it as I didn't have the time to make a more sophisticated video but still wanted to share something with you all. While editing the video, I've noticed that I forgot to mention something important: in order to progress, make a lot of mistakes! This might be a generic advice but it might also be one of the best advices you can get, especially when it comes to language learning. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Don't feel ashamed if you need 5 minutes to make a sentence. Don't be too severe with yourself if you forget the same expression for the 100th time. It's normal. It happens with some expressions or words. Don't worry, you'll remember it if you really need it. This is another thing I didn't talk about in the video actually. You need to forget a lot in order to remember. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this storytime, raw memories from my Korean learning. I love this period of my life where all I could think of was getting better each day in order to reach the top of the Korean mountain. By the way, now, I'm making ASMR videos everyday, always trying to improve this or that. It's a bit more abstract, but I feel like I'm improving this or that and it feels good, especially as I really do ASMR videos that I want to make.
