💈 This Authentic Yucatán Barbershop Gave Me An Old School Shave | Souza Barbershop, Merida 🇲🇽 During our time in Mérida, we had the chance to meet and film a shave with an old-school Yucatán barber, Mr. Benito Souza. His barbershop dates back to 1968, and the spot we filmed in is their second location, where they’ve been for the past 35 years. He lives right next door and works alongside his son, Carlos 💈 The father-and-son duo are very friendly and welcoming 😊 Mr. Souza grew up very poor and began working at the age of 12. He was encouraged to work in barbering by a very old neighbor who cut hair close to their house. He says his whole life has been dedicated to barbering and always gives 100% in attention to his customers and treats them more like friends❣️ During his free time, he enjoys tennis and going to the sports center 🎾 Life advice?
