I think its really fun that I got to do that ittle interview and be featured, and its was kind of funny having all of these people I know message me to say 'is that you??", but on the other hand I avoid looking at it myself. the interview itself probably lasted about 10 minutes, but the final cut obviously only got to be about a minute long, so although I don't feel like I was too misrepresented, obviously most of the nuance of what I spoke about was lost, which shows in the comments. But mostly, I don't like to see it because I'm reminded of all of the awful mysoginistic comments talking about the way I look or I'm dressed, and making great assumptions about who I am as a person based on a few seconds of footage - it was a bit of a shock, because as someone who is online I am exposed to these kinds of things all the time, but I never recieve it here - for good reason, this is a lovely, kind community of people, and that video got shown to a much broader audience. So generally, it saddens me a ltittle, and I try to forget about it. But hey, I can't go my whole life pretending people don't think that way about me and other women, so I'll deal with it lol.
