A demo of a 100 year old phone from Charles Lindbergh's first non-stop solo flight over the Atlantic from New York to Paris. This phone was a gift from my son who has followed in my footsteps---working in aviation just like I did. Lindbergh's achievement was celebrated worldwide, and he became an international hero. His flight had a profound impact on the world, significantly advancing the development of aviation technology and the growth of commercial aviation. Here are some key details: #asmr #grandpa #Lindbergh Departure: Lindbergh left Long Island's Roosevelt Field in New York on May 20, 1927. Aircraft: He flew in a single-engine plane built by Ryan Airlines, named the Spirit of St. Louis. Journey: The flight was a test of endurance, battling the elements, navigation challenges, and fatigue. Lindbergh managed to stay awake for the entire journey. Arrival: Lindbergh landed at Le Bourget Field in Paris, successfully completing the first solo, nonstop transatlantic flight and the first ever nonstop flight between New York to Paris. The flight lasted 33 hours and 30 minutes. Significance: This record-setting flight marked a major milestone in aviation history.
