Hey Everyone, Shortly after YouTube was created in early 2009, I uploaded my first cover song to my channel. On that day, my YouTube adventure had just begun. Here I am, 7 years later, having posted countless covers since then. Even though I am transitioning into creating my own music, being a cover artist will always be a part of me, and remains something I still enjoy doing. I’d like to give a BIG thank you to Blair, for making this amazing video and putting so much time into it! I was shocked seeing this for the first time, because it brought back so many memories & the way it was made was perfect! thank you so much for everything! Also like to thank my viewers new and old, and ask you to join me in watching where it all started, in this crazy montage made for me! Notes from Blair: Like most of my creative endeavours, I do them for the love of it. Just before I met Sabrina in 2013, Rick informed me his daughter was a local YouTube sensation, and I had to admit, that was kind of intimidating. However, Sabrina and I hit it off almost instantly and I couldn't help but identify with her as my younger self; having made home videos singing/dancing with my girlfriends in my basement in the late 90’s (Thanks mom!) I then hopped on the Vaz-phenomena and I put what I had learnt in my undergraduate film classes to use by assisting in the production part of her music videos. I had a blast making story boards and even participating in her videos; all while seeing the replicas unfold and come to life in their unique way... To this day, I am humbled by the acceptance Sabrina has shown me. We share a special bond I could have never imagined. She truly is an old soul, with her heart revolving around music. I hope you enjoy this homage down memory lane.
