I woke up at 3AM to make this playlist in anticipation of the dark, dead winter months. the line up is all moody and melancholic songs by one of my favorite artists and voices, Kiyoharu. the nostalgic Japanese rock takes you right back to a time when you may have been depressed, but you were also closer to yourself in a convoluted way. maybe that's just me. I find that the more I embrace the melancholy in my heart, the more I return to myself. it's this certain closeness that I can't receive from other people.
