ASMR Los Angeles (some history & map tracing, soft spoken)

Today we'll look at a city that's a bit of an enigma to me: Los Angeles! The only landmark I know is the Hollywood sign, but looking through the map, I realized that the names of most neighbours sound familiar. The city is known for urban sprawl and traffic jams, but also has a busy public transport system, walkable neighbours and areas as densely populated as any other major city. And right at the centre of this relatively young metropolis, there are traces of the long and tragic past of the Tongva, the original inhabits of this beautiful stretch of land, and the Spanish colonization.
