And through all his travels and experiences, it became clear Ireland was where he wanted to be 🇮🇪 Years later, Stephen returned and opened Tom Winters Barbers in Cork 💈✨ Five to six years were spent planning, visiting barbershops and observing before Stephen opened Tom Winters Barbers, named after his dad, in 2017. The shop took Stephen a year to complete the buildout and included laying salvaged wood flooring from an old convent and reclaimed bricks from an old industrial chimney in Belfast. Both blend well and give the shop that rich texture and depth that only old materials can. Along with the handpicked antiques, the space has a warm and cozy atmosphere. Stephen wants his shop to be a place for men to come and just be themselves.
