POV: Eating at an Irish Pub

Revisiting a local fav Macallans Irish Pub in Brea after 4 long years for our Friday family date night, and I'm pleased to say that it's still as good as we remember, but we didn't like the "Merchant Fee" of $4 on our bill. I've never seen that at other restaurants. We asked the server about it and took it off our bill. FOOD: ✔️ FISH & CHIPS $23 - Perfectly cooked! Not greasy. Batter was light and crispy, and fish was tender tender and flaky. It could use a little salt, but the tartar sauce and vinegar enhanced the flavor. ✔️CHICKEN SANDWICH $16 + $5 with fries Texture of the chicken was perfect. Crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. But it could use some salt or seasoning. ✔️8 oz WAGYU CHEESEBURGER $16 + $5 with fries - I didn't get to taste, but my 7 yr old son enjoyed it. ✔️ JUST CHILL $15 - Not too sweet, refreshing, and strong ✔️CLASSIC OLD FASHIONED $15 ✔️JAPANESE OLD FASHIONED $15 SERVICE: Host and server were welcoming and friendly.
