But feel free to still read the story Hi guys!! Really quickly, thank you for being incredibly patient with me and this channel. Your comments come up on my notifciations and I read all of them now days since the number of comments have gone down 😂 Quick back story. I have a congenital heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot. It's a baby blue defect from birth. I have been lucky enough to have had really great doctors growing up. I ended up attending the university that my paediatric cardiologist, Dr. James Lock graduated from. My heart condition is a really cool story that I have been able to share with friends and it's really molded me into the person I have become and am becoming. I am currently taking time off of school to get hopefully a valve replacement which is why I'm back in England with my family :) I wanted to say thank you so much for watching my videos and supporting me through such kind words in the comments. They're hilarious and uplifting and I could not be more grateful... To end this letter, here is a picture of the email I sent to my pediatric cardiologist, Dr. James Lock, as a high school senior. I was so young when he helped me I never got to say thank you. Looking back at the email now, it still really comforts me. With our current events in the world, I think it's an easy time to feel discouraged. I hope that the email exchanges below can be a reminder of hope and revival for any trepidation or challenges that may come in the future. Sending love, gratitude and my bestestest wishes Nicole picture of my email and his response: http://imgur.com/gallery/C252S (You may need to zoom in on my email, i needed to fit it into one page whoops) ================================================= Why are you whispering? I'm speaking softly so that those watching can relax/wind down, fall asleep, or experience ASMR. What is ASMR? ASMR(Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is an experience or reaction from psychological relaxation or pleasant stimuli. It is a tingly experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine, precipitating relaxation. Though it is usually a tingly feeling, it is also sometimes a feeling of sleepiness. Who & why listen to ASMR? I personally started listening to it my junior year in high school when I could not sleep from stress. Many people who struggle with insomnia or distributive sleeping patterns listen to ASMR. Of course, there are some who watch and listen to feel relaxed or experience brain tingles. Can you suggest videos? Welcome to the Tingle Fam! This community is huge and there are a ton of videos to watch. Take your time exploring the community and have fun finding your triggers!
